About Me: 

Harold is known as the facilitator of artists and the arts for the East Austin music set. He is credited with the creation and management of a vast variety of projects and efforts, including, and not limited to, being the Founder/Executive Producer/ Director of the Clarksville Jazz and Arts Festival, the Austin Jazz and Arts Festival, and the Austin Blues Family Tree Project. As a player, he has been actively involved in the Austin music scene for the past 25 years, and has shared the stage with the likes of W.C. Clark, Hubert Sumlin, Stevie Vaughn, T.D. Bell, Lavelle White, Blue Boy Hubbard and countless other blues notables. A master of bass guitar groove, he is the beating heart of the East Side Blues Syndicate. Wearing a wide variety of hats and fluent in many forms of Jazz, Blues, and R&B, he acts as a crucial cornerstone to the group as a whole. As easy-going as he is passionate, he keeps the Blues blood pumping throughout each and every set.
