DiverseArts Culture Works proudly presents an East End Fourth Friday! live music event -  Generation: NEXT! Under-18 Showcase. Come enjoy a fresh lineup of Austin’s young and talented musicians as they perform at Kenny Dorham’s Backyard,1106 East East 11th Street, next door to the Historic Victory Grill.  Bring a blanket, bring a friend, and enjoy the beautiful outdoor space while Austin’s up-and-comers rock the night away!
Enjoy organic and locally grown food from Sun Farm Kitchen, and quench your thirst with FREE beer provided by Live Oak Brewing Co! Sodas and other refreshments will be available for purchase as well.
A $5 donation is suggested to help DiverseArts continue it’s work promoting local arts and artists.

Charlie Belle

A favorite Austin import and regular of SXSW, Charlie Belle combine certified indie chops with clever schooldaze lyrics and spunky pinnace. Originally from Philly, the duo consist of brother and sister duo Jendayi (guitar and lead vocals) and Gyasi (back up vocals and drums) and often invite fellow musicians to join in on their performances!


The Aviators

The two-time Austin Music Awards Top Five U-18 Band winners are a seasoned six-piece local rock crew who love nothing more than to jam out! With a set list including original tunes and well-honed rock standards, these long time buddies know how to put on a rockin’ show and strut their stuff on stage!

Prince TJ

16- yr. old creative lyricist Thyrone AKA Prince TJ has will be on stage rocking the mic and raising the roof with his certified fresh brand of hip-hop and rap! A gifted freestyler with a potent sense of timing and cadence, Prince TJ is already making waves in the U-18 music segment around Austin and Pflugerville 


About Fourth Fridays!:

The event takes place every fourth Friday of the month at Kenny Dorham’s Backyard, and will showcase art and craft vendors and live music while providing good food, refreshments, and free activities for children.
