The Foxhole: A Foxing Quarterly Pop-Up Shop

Foxing’s first-ever mobile newsstand, the Foxhole will carry mini comics and zines from micro publishers and artists including: Michel Fiffe’s Copra Press, Floating World, Hic & Hoc Publications, Retrofit Comics, Emi Gennis, Bernie McGovern, and many more.

Note: This pop-up will be open during Phases One and Two.


Get ready for literary mayhem at Lit Crawl Austin! 

This year’s Saturday night Lit Crawl Austin event is packed with even more headlining authors and East Austin venues than ever before.

A collaboration between the Texas Book Festival and the Litquake Foundation, Lit Crawl Austin will feature some of America's most groundbreaking writers onstage and in conversation at various East Austin venues on Saturday night, Oct. 26th

This year’s Lit Crawl schedule will include a popup comics and zine shop; Nerd Jeopardy with Reza Aslan and Kevin Smokler; literary Taboo; ghost stories told by R.L. Stine and James Preller at the Texas State Cemetery; Drunk (Literary) History with Derek Waters, the creator of Drunk History for Comedy Central; Literary Mafia with Daniel Handler, Karen Joy Fowler, Jonathan Lethem, and Matthew Specktor; and much more. 

This year’s Lit Crawl Austin venues include:

Two pieces of advice for anyone coming to Lit Crawl Austin for the first time this year: wear comfortable shoes because some venues are standing room-only; and bike, walk, or carpool if possible because parking on the East Side is very limited.
