Lost Cat Magnet
Ricardo Acevedo on synth and vocals, hales from the 80’s Southern Cal’s art punk and new wave scene. His bands Freaks Amor, The Blue Box and Second Culture were regulars with likes of Wall of Voodoo, Suburban Lawns, Hunters & Collectors and Savage Republic in both the LA and Long Beach scene. Those years in the electronic music underground, combined with a love of jazz and beat culture make for a wild fusion of concept. A self taught musician, Acevedo approaches sound and rhythm like a painter, with flashes of color and contrast.

Dave Laczko has been on the Austin Jazz scene for decades including the Brarons of Rhythm and 14 years as a Jazz DJ for KAZI radio. His modern trumpet sounds have gained attention around the world and WD41s recent CDs and Videos have been well recieved.
